Opened in 1950 mini zoo is free of charge. Despite the fact that it is quite small (it can not be compared to the main Zoo in Budapest), there is plenty to see. Ponies, raindeers, peacocks, storks, camels, ducks, eagles and all other kinds of birds – they all live here in the open air from winter to winter.
The zoo is usually open every day until dark, except during the winter months. It is easy to find: just go along the main avenue of the island, and bypassing the big fountain, stick to the right side.
